Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She also has produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her family was a middle class one in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. She was raised by her mother, who was a fan of films. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities and was especially interested in the drama. She was an excellent actress, and she enjoyed performing alongside her friends. She acted in many performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as her career. Through a program for summer in the University of Southern California, she had a blast there. She was assigned a 3 month project to create documentaries for PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment well, she was able to begin working as an assistant in TV documentary production. After that, she started producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable, but she still wanted to be an actor. Her career in acting started with a minor role alongside Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared on many TV and film programs.
