Charlotte Church (born February 21, 1986) is an opera star from Llandaff Wales in the United Kingdom. Welsh artist and singer who is famous for jazz, classical and pop recordings. She has sold over 10 million albums around the world. Crazy Chick became her first #1 single. Church might have wanted to portray Hermione Grenger for Harry Potter movies, but Church was not given the role of Emma Watson. Church had wanted to be Hermione Sheridan in Harry Potter films. Emma Watson took over the role of Church. Church's mom, Maria Cooper was a computer programmer and her father Stephen Reed is a Llandaff resident of Cardiff Wales. Stephen was a thief on Charlotte and her mother when she was just two years old and was later fostered by her maternal grandmother. She was raised Roman Catholic. Maria Church was married by James Church in 1992. Charlotte was adopted by James Church in 1999. There are four of her siblings, two younger half-brothers from her biological father Luke and Alexander as well as two step-brothers older from her adoptive father's earlier union with Elisha and Andrew.
