Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk - a talented actress as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is being the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her plays as a child and watching her mom working. At the beginning of her career Anna was a part of a variety of commercials on television. Anna moved to Toronto in November of 1999, to further her acting career. She eventually settled down at Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her husband in 2009. Anna became a Jew in 2011 after converting to Judaism. The couple was wed in a civil ceremony in December that year and then renewed their vows during a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's similar-sex romance with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted on CNN's list of the top Favorite Television Couples and was named the top TV Couple in 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's social media following grew following the popularity of her television show.
