Ky-ManiHis third album, untitled, is almost complete, Ky-mani is certainly a major star as a person in his own right. Ky-mani Marley was the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). The singer was born on the 26th of February 1977 in Falmouth. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. In the sense of an East African man, his albums and travels can be described as an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey started in 1999. With an eclectic vision he was looking for his own niche while exploring the entire musical spectrum discovering his various skills. As of 2001 Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) was a "traditional" reggae album , was released , revealing a mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey received a great reception across the globe. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an independent artist. Ky-Mani is renowned for his distinct blend between hip-hop and R&B along with some modern jazz.
